I. Classification of container sizes
20' GP(20 feet general purpose): The content volume is 5.896m x 2.35m x 2.393m, with a maximum cargo weight of 28.2 tons and a volume of 33 cubic meters.
40' GP( 40 feet general purpose) : The content volume is 12.032m x 2.35m x 2.393m, with a maximum cargo weight of 28.8 tons and a volume of 67 cubic meters.
40HQ (40'  high cube) : The content volume is 12.032m x 2.352m x 2.679m, with a maximum cargo weight of 28.62 tons and a volume of 76 cubic meters.
45HQ(45-foot high cube container): The content volume is 13.58m x 2.34m x 2.71m, with a maximum cargo weight of 29 tons and a volume of 86 cubic meters.
20OT(20-foot open top containe): The content volume is 5.89m x 2.32m x 2.31m, with a maximum cargo weight of 20 tons and a volume of 31.5 cubic meters.
40OT(40-foot open top container): The content volume is 12.01m x 2.33m x 2.15m, with a maximum cargo weight of 30.4 tons and a volume of 65 cubic meters.

II. Classification of container-applicable goods
General purpose container:
Open top container: Equipped with horizontal wooden movable planks (wooden strips) and a canvas top cover, it is mostly used for transporting whole, rough, or large machinery.
Frame container: Without a top and sides, its characteristic is loading and unloading from the side of the container. It is mainly used for carrying overweight cargo, as well as for loading livestock and naked cargo such as steel without external packaging.
Refrigerated container: It has good insulation and airtightness and can maintain a certain low-temperature requirement. The container has insulation properties, and the other end of the container door is equipped with a refrigeration unit, which is suitable for transporting and storing various perishable foods in special containers.

Garment container: Generally used as a container specifically for hanging clothes, it is divided into rope hanging and bar hanging types. The characteristic of this container is that there are many horizontal bars on the upper beam inside the container, and several belts, nylon straps, or ropes hang down from each bar. The finished clothes are directly hung on the hooks of the hangers and onto the belts or ropes.

40GP：一般被称为标柜，内部空间12×2.35×2.39米，装载容积58CBM

40HQ：一般被称为高柜，内部空间11.8×2.34×2.68米，装载容积68CBM

45HQ：内部空间13.58×2.34×2.68米，装载容积76CBM

注：这里的装载容积指的是密集装载工整的长方体纸箱时的大致装载容积，它是一个估算值，并不准确。如果你的集装箱内装载的是摩托车、轮胎这样的不规则货品，那肯定会带来空间上的浪费，装载容积就会下降。而如果你通过打压缩包的方式装载衣物时，你的集装箱装载容积就可以超过上述标准。

RF柜：Reefer Container，冷藏集装箱，拥有冷藏功能，主要用于运输生鲜产品。

TK柜：Tank Container，罐式集装箱，主要用于装载液体。

CC柜：Car Container，汽车集装箱，主要用于运输轿车。

OT柜：Open Top Container，开顶集装箱。开顶集装箱的顶部可以取下，也可以装上。它主要有两个用途，一是作为敞篷集装箱用于运输超高货物；二是方便超重货物的装载，即遇到单个超重货件不便于人力装箱时，使用开顶集装箱和吊机从顶部进行装载，再将开顶集装箱的顶部还原，随后正常运输。

FR柜：Flat Rack Container，框架柜，只有地板和柱脚的集装箱，用于运输超长超宽货品。

上述集装箱也可以在英文简称前添加20或40表示其长度（英尺），如40FR，20RF等。
